CARGO TABLES – 2016
Paper planes and homing pigeons: this table is not a pet, but a reflection on shipment and transport. It is also an investigation into the transformation of packaging material into structural elements for furniture pieces. Cargo Tables consist of two L-bent metal sheets plugged into the central slit of an oversized shipping tube. The tube’s diameter equals the width of each metal sheet. They can be slid inside the tube during transport and shipment.
